ONE-TOUCH
SYSTEM SETTING
ProxyVolt's innovative "ONE-TOUCH" setting enables operators to easily set an exclusion zone from a power line with the simple touch of a button.
Inclinometer
The PV8-PRO has an in-built inclinometer which is enabled and disabled within the main menu. The inclinometer alarm status is displayed within this area. The image of equipment can be adjusted within the menu.
Acknowledge Timer
The acknowledge timer enables the PV8-PRO to be placed into Quiet Mode after the system has alerted the operator of a breach of the SET exclusion zone. The visual proximity alarm remains active. The audible alarm will automatically reinstate once the pre-set period has expired. The Acknowledge Timer settings are fully adjustable within the menu and can be disabled if this feature is not required. The timer becomes active once the operator selects the Acknowledge Timer on the touch screen display.
"ONE-TOUCH" Setting
When the SET key is selected the PV8-PRO calculates the distance from a power line and sets the exclusion zone. The SET key will illuminate GREEN to confirm the proximity from a power line has been calibrated and SET.
System Safeguards
The PV8-PRO includes 4 System Safeguards providing the operator assurances with operational integrity. The safeguards are constantly analysing system parameters alerting the operator if the system is compromised. If there is any status change in relation to Power, System, Antenna or Bluetooth Link the relevant LED will colour from green to amber.
Info Bar
The Info Bar displays important information on the operation of the PV8-PRO system:
• Input Voltage of the PV8-PRO system
• Bluetooth Link between the PV8-PRO and Touch Screen
• Keypad Lock
• Body Up Indicator
• Quiet Mode (Acknowledge)
Proximity Gauge
The Proximity Gauge displays the proximity of the plant / equipment in relation to a power line once the system has been SET. The proximity gauge is split into green; amber and red sectors to give the operator a visual perspective of their location in relation to the SET exclusion zone from power line. The PV8-PRO will alert the operator both audibly and visually when the Proximity Gauge enters the red zone.
Event Window
The Event Window alerts the operator of all major events for the PV8-PRO system. Different icons are displayed to notify the operator of important status changes which may occur whilst operating the system. Some alerts are animated and accompanied with an audible tone depending on their importance.
Traverse Mode
Traverse Mode is recommended when moving equipment throughout a site to provide protection from unrecognised power lines. The Traverse sensitivity / range of the system can be adjusted within the main menu.

Gain
Gain adjustment allows fine tuning of the system gain to increase or decrease the distance of the SET exclusion zone.
Gain Adjustment
The Gain Adjustment provides fine adjustment of the Set Point via the up and down arrows. Gain adjustment ranges from a -5 to +5 setting and is represented by the gain meter and replicated numerically within the Status Window.
Proximity Integer
The Proximity Integer mimics the Proximity Graph providing the operator a numerically reference in relation to the SET exclusion zone. The proximity integer ranges from 0-100 with 100 representing a breach of the SET exclusion zone.
